BUG HUNT

Ok, bug hunting time. I have no free time, but whatever, let's see how much I can get done despite this fact.

If you have a problem with your textmessaging service - messages are not coming through, it's showing the sender as a generic "lj", etc., reply to this message with FULL DETAILS.

This means:

1.) specific service name - I want it exactly as shown here: http://www.livejournal.com/tools/textmessage.bml?mode=details

2.) an explanation of what happens, and what the expected behavior is

3.) steps needed to reproduce

Before sending the report, make sure of a few things.

1.) The phone number you input here: http://www.livejournal.com/editinfo.bml should have no spaces, dashes, parentheses, hyphens, letters, squiggly lines, cauliflowers, or any other non-numeric character. JUST NUMBERS. If you've put in anything other than numbers, fix it and try again. I'll see about better auto-fixing and error correction one of these days soon, but until then, bear with me, and fix it yourself.

2.) Read this: http://www.livejournal.com/tools/textmessage.bml?mode=details Try sending yourself a test page via the method specified in there. See a.) if it works, and if so, b.) what it looks like. This is important, because if you say LJ formats/prints it wrong, I need to know how you think it should be formatted. If it doesn't work at all, then chances are the problem is either that your provider isn't working, or we need to update the place we're sending 'em to as they've changed.

Send me the report after having read and followed the above, and I promise I will try my best to fix it. Ignore what I wrote above, and expect me to do the same to your report. ;)

Thanks,
