10-digit phone number. Goes to @airtouchpaging.com
From the Verizon page...
Sending a text message from any e-mail system with an Internet connection:
Anyone can send you a text message from e-mail simply by composing a message and sending it directly to your digital handset. Your handset address is your 10-digit mobile number followed by @msg.myvzw.com. For example, 9495551212@msg.myvzw.com.
Problem:
Currently this option doesn't seem to work for me as LJ has it setup, or is this only for people who used Airtouch before it became Verizon? Sending an email to my number @msg.myvzw.com does work however if I do it manually. Maybe a third Verizon option is needed if this works for older airtouch customers but not current Verizon ones. LJ says it sent, but it never arriveswhen sent through LJ.

Enter your 10-digit phone number. Messages are sent via the gateway at http://msg.myvzw.com, usually faster than the email gateway.
Problem:
This doesn't work and gives an error while actually going to http://msg.myvzw.com/messaging.jsp works fine. Does LJ send an email address like the page does? Do they check for that? Have they changed it since the LJ support was created?
Both sending by email and using the page are instantaneous to receive when done manually, and neitherseems to work through LJ, so I thought I'd bring it to someone's attention. :D
