can anyone help please?

i'm sure this has been probably asked before:

i just got a paid account today, because i wanted to use the text message feature on livejournal.

i thought i set it up correctly on the personal info page, but i have not received any text messages on my cellphone. when you access the page and type in the message, it says that it has been sent, but i don't receive it.

if it matters:
i have cingular and i currently only can send and receive SMS -type messages on my phone (i don't have email access).


any ideas on how i can make this work would be greatly appericiated!
